✅ 100%! We foster a welcoming, respectful and inclusive atmosphere where students support and encourage each other.
You are very welcome to watch classes from our viewing gallery. We have free WIFI and refreshments available. We don’t require parents to stay during classes. However, we do find that parents who get involved with their kids martial arts lessons, truly build a solid connection as they see their child grow in confidence and skill as they progress through their belt ranks. And building strong family units is important to us at Tring Martial Arts Academy for our Tring community.
Make sure you wear comfortable clothes you can do sports in!
Be sure to bring a water bottle to your martial arts classes. You will find Tring Martial Arts Academy in Tring has martial arts classes for kids and adults that are a great workout and lots of fun! Most students are grinning from ear to ear by the end of the class. We are sure you will be too!

After teaching literally thousands of students since we opened in 2005, we know the life changing benefits of consistent martial arts training can have on both children and adults. We know that if you can commit to regular twice weekly training (or more) that you start to see immediate results. In fact, we are so confident that you will love training here at TMA that we offer a 7-Day Money Back Guarantee.
If after completing the Starter Programme in full you are not convinced that training at TMA will benefit you or your child, simply write to us at customercare@tringmartialarts.com . Your email must include the students full name and the reasons why you feel our training will not help you or your child to achieve your ambitions.
Our Money Back Guarantee will be administered according to the following terms:
- The student must have taken part in the full starter programme training at least twice per week for the full four weeks (8 classes minimum).
- The uniform is returned washed and ironed (keep the belt as our gift)
- The refund request is made within 7 days of the last day of the Starter Programme.
✅ Yes! Safety is our top priority. Classes are taught in a controlled environment with experienced instructors ensuring proper technique and injury prevention.
❎Absolutely not during a Beginners Class. Sparring is introduced in our Intermediate and Advanced classes when we determine if you are ready. It takes about 18 months of training to reach these classes.
✅ Definitely! Martial arts is a full-body workout that improves strength, flexibility, coordination and cardiovascular fitness.
✅ Absolutely! Our classes cater to all experience levels, from complete beginners to advanced students. Our instructors will guide you every step of the way.
