On Friday 5th April 2019 Tring Martial Arts Academy based on the Silk Mill Business Park, Tring was presented with the Micro Business of the Year Award 2019 for the East of England by the Federation of Small Businesses. Christopher Allen, the chief instructor and founder of TMA attended the presentation ceremony held at Newmarket Racecourse in Cambridgeshire and despite numerous other distinguished businesses competing for the award, Tring Martial Arts Academy won through in part to our 14 years of work to combat bullying in our community. The FSB described Tring Martial Arts Academy as, “Experts in Anti-Bullying” and were also impressed with our 100+ 5 Star Facebook Reviews and commitment to our community through our own full time premises. The judges were also impressed by our efforts to help our community combat obesity and discrimination.
Chris and the Team for TMA are now looking forward to attending the UK National Final in London on the 23rd May 2019.
