What does it mean to be a Black Belt?
Being a Black Belt means different things to different people. Generally speaking being a Black Belt means that you always try to be a better person. To do this, have high standards and practice self-control. Play hard but fair, eat healthy foods and get plenty of rest. Help in your family, school and your community. Come to class consistently and practice martial arts daily.
The memory of earning your Black Belt will last a lifetime. You are aiming to achieve a goal that many others will never reach! Since 2005, TMA instructors have helped over 60 students achieve Black Belt and beyond. No one has regretted earning their Black Belt but many students have regretted quitting before Black Belt. I encourage you to practice hard and focus on achieving this goal.
